Abbey for Intermediaries undertakes regular checks of its processes, including the Fast Track process offered through intermediaries.

Abbey's Fast Track policy, which can be found on page 5 of AFI's 'Intermediary Lending Guide (click here) states:

'An application that meets certain criteria may be fast tracked i.e. submitted without proof of income, to simplify the paperwork required to speed up the mortgage process'

The AIP will confirm the documentation required.

This agreement is on the basis that you are satisfied that the income declared is accurate and have retained evidence of income on file. AFI reserve the right to request this evidence and random checks are in place to request this proof.

When requested, please forward copies of the proof of income and the signed application form you hold for the selected case. These should be faxed to 01908 344403 - please quote 'Governance & Control (Fast Track Testing)' on the fax header. Please ensure you include the case number and name in your reply. Responses are mandatory and required within 7 working days of the date of the request email.

If you do not reply to this request, then it is possible that your access to Abbey's Fast Track system may be suspended and the case proc fee not paid.
